About me…
Hi, I’m Chessa Budai
I’m a native to the Southeast and have been practicing therapy with children, teens, and adults for the last 5 years. In my practice, I help clients recognize and harness their own strengths to create lasting changes in their lives. I love helping teenage and adult clients navigate difficult challenges such as depression, anxiety, low self-worth and watching them blossom into their most integrated and empowered selves.
I became a therapist after going on my own healing journey to find freedom from my trauma symptoms, anxiety, and depression. I can approach my clients with hope for their healing because I have found it myself. My approach is one of deep compassion, understanding, and appreciation for the challenges that mental health issues evoke.
While facing our painful memories and experiences is a part of healing, I also believe we equally need play and joy to truly heal. My sessions are often infused with the laughter and silliness needed to make therapy truly holistic. If this sounds like your style of treatment, shoot me an email and let’s connect.
